Come help us tidy up our Adopt a Stream in Manassas! It is time to give it a good clean up of trash and those pernicious invasive plants.

About the event
The Bull Run Watershed Protectors invite families, companies, scouts and school organizations to continue to make a difference in cleaning the stream valley behind Costco, across Lomond to Ashton Rd. and the shops/restaurants adjacent down to Walgreens at Sudley Manor Road.
Families, Honor Societies, Scout groups and ROTC’s have helped to remove over 14,000 lbs. of trash since 2018 from this area. We have seen a return of sensitive wildlife to this area since the cleanups began!
We will consolidate individual and families into small groups and assign a location to clean up. Larger groups will be assigned their own area to clean. Gloves, safety vests, trash bags and grabbers will be loaned to participants for the cleanup.
For school groups and scouts, adult leaders will take attendance and then share the list with us so that we can prepare and provide volunteer certificates to the participants to avoid crowding at…
