About the event
We enjoyed our June 9 book club meeting discussing books about trees! You can earn 1 hour of continuing education for attending our meetings, but you do not have to be a master naturalist to join this book club. Feel free to invite others. We were charmed and delighted to have wildflower and general botany expert Marion Lobstein join our group. She actually helped organize our chapter. Welcome Marion!
Our next theme for the August meeting will be birds! We'll be reading The Bird Way: A New Look at How Birds Talk, Work, Play, Parent, and Think, by Jennifer Ackerman. Thank you, Emily Hampton, for suggesting the title. As usual, feel free to read this selection, or another book. We also like poetry, podcasts, movies, documentaries or any other format you’d like to share. The next meeting wil be August 11 at 2 PM, at Nell's home in Manassas.
