Yes, we are still in need of a Chapter President! Having a President is an essential requirement to maintain our status as a chapter. The state office has been flexible with us so far, but if we cannot find someone willing to take on this role by 2026, our chapter will face dissolution.

Can YOU be our next President or Co-President? You will have lots of support from the board of directors, and you'll have the advice of our experienced Past Presidents to guide you. Presidents serve a one-year term, then serve the following year as Past President, providing guidance to our next leader.

Co-Presidents: Position Description

Estimated commitment: 5-10 hours each month

• Preside at all meetings of the Chapter, membership and board.

• Is active member at chapter events.

• Serve as Chair of the Board of Directors with voting rights.

• Be an ex-officio member of all committees.

• Sign checks in the absence of the Treasurer.

• Present an annual report at the last annual meeting of the chapter.

• Become Immediate Past President upon completion of term as President.

• Work with the membership chair to fulfill and submit the chapter’s annual report to the state office annually
